1. Aerobics Gymnastics Coach

Aerobic gymnastics is a newly established gym sport for the club and a highly organised, reliable and energetic coach is required to take responsibility for the program with the objective of growing it further.   Operating across two locations in the Eastern suburbs, this is a casual role paid under the Fitness Industry Award, offering approximately 4 hours per week of coaching plus administrative hours for programming and competition preparation.  Evening and weekend work is required and hours will vary depending on workload through each term. 

Gymnastics Australia Aerobics accreditation is a requirement of the role and applicants holding an existing accreditation will be highly regarded.  Individuals with an alternate Gymnastics, Aerobics or Dance background and who are willing to secure this accreditation are encouraged to apply.

Successful Applicants will be able to demonstrate;

  • Ability to work reliably and autonomously
  • Key understanding of how to break down and teach new skills
  • Strong communication skills, able to teach gymnasts of multiple ages and communicate with parents
  • A positive attitude and commitment to child safety
  • Experience with writing and delivering programs

Required Qualifications

  • Gymnastics Australia Accreditation (or commitment to complete)
  • Current WWCC and First Aid

2. Women's Artistic Gymnastics Coach (Intermediate - Advanced Accredited)

Seeking an experienced, energetic, reliable team player.  This role will involve working with our level 4-8 athletes and coaches to help deliver diverse programes to assist in skill development.

Successful Applicants will be able to demonstrate;

  • Key understanding of the ALP manual
  • Key understanding of how to break down and teach new skills
  • Strong communication skills, able to teach gymnasts of multiple ages and communicate with parents
  • A positive attitude and commitment to child safety
  • Experience with writing and delivering programs for levels 4-8
  • Capable of spotting level 6-8 standard skills

Required Qualifications

  • Intermediate or advanced accreditation
  • Current WWCC and First Aid

3. Men's Artistic Gymnastics Coach (Beginner - Intermediate Accredited)

Seeking a reliable MAG Coach.  This role will involve working with MAG athletes and coaches to help deliver diverse programs to assist in skill development

Successful Applicants will be able to demonstrate;

  • Understanding of MAG skills
  • Understanding of how to break down and teach new skills
  • Good communication skills, able to teach gymnasts of multiple ages and communicate with parents
  • A positive attitude and commitment to child safety

Required Qualifications

  • Beginner or intermediate accreditation
  • Current WWCC and First Aid
